These are examples of home & deco customizer setups. If a matching template is available in your dashboard, apply it directly. Otherwise, use these as a guide to build your own. See How to Use a Podifai Template. The videos below show example builds of each setup.
Bottle Opener
A bottle opener customizer might include:
- Color Swatch for opener color
- Badge Group for engraving style (Plain, Image & Text, Image only, Text only)
- Image Upload for custom artwork
- Text Input for engraving text
- Dynamic Pricing per engraving style
- Conditional Logic to show image upload and/or text input based on style
Luggage Name Tag
A luggage name tag customizer might include:
- Color Swatch for tag color
- Text Input for first name
- Text Input for last name
- Text Input for other info (phone, email, etc.)
- Live Preview showing the engraved tag
Custom Phone Case
Select the physical phone case model with Shopify variants, then use Podifai options for its artwork and text. A Podifai Dropdown records customization data; it does not automatically select the matching Shopify SKU. See Shopify Variants vs Podifai Options.
A phone case customizer might include:
- Shopify variants for device model when it determines the case SKU or base inventory
- Badge Group for case style (Pattern / Solid)
- Image Swatch for pattern
- Dropdown for "Add text?" (Yes / No)
- Text Input for engraved text
- Conditional Logic to show patterns or solids based on case style, and text input only when Add text = Yes
Custom Tumbler
A tumbler customizer might include:
- Color Swatch for straw color
- Color Swatch for tumbler body color
- Badge Group for design style (Image & Text / Text / Image)
- Image Swatch for graphic library (e.g. zodiac signs)
- Image Upload for custom artwork
- Text Input for engraved name
- Live Preview for the finished tumbler
Custom Sofa
Use Shopify variants when the sofa model or upholstery color determines the physical SKU or base inventory. Use the Podifai choices below for customization data; selecting them does not automatically replace the Shopify variant added to the cart.
A sofa customizer might include:
- Image Swatch for sofa model (for example, "Model A")
- Color Swatch for upholstery color
- Dynamic Pricing for each model and each color (the adjustments add together)
