These are examples of apparel and accessories customizer setups. If a matching template is available in your dashboard, apply it directly. Otherwise, use these as a guide to build your own. See How to Use a Podifai Template. The videos below show example builds of each setup.

Customizable Backpack

A backpack customizer might include:

• Badge Group for "Add a patch?" (Yes / No)
• Image Swatch for patch design selection
• Color Swatch for a made-to-order decorative handle color
• Dynamic Pricing add-on when a patch is selected
• Conditional Logic to show patch swatches only when Yes

Keep stocked backpack colors and sizes in Shopify variants. For decorative handle choices, prepare Preview Images for the Color Swatch values if they should appear on the bag. If patches have their own stock, review linked option inventory; selecting a patch does not replace the base backpack variant.

Customizable Small Pouch

A small pouch customizer might include:

• Shopify variants for stocked pouch colors
• Badge Group for "Add engraving?" (Yes / No)
• Text Input for engraved text with a practical character limit
• Conditional Logic to show the text field when Add engraving = Yes
• Dynamic Pricing add-on for engraving

Put the condition on the engraving Text Input and match the Badge Group's Yes value. Position the text preview inside the engraving area. If the preview should follow the stocked pouch color, use Variant image as the background and check alignment across the variant images.

Check the Accessories Setup

• Test Yes and No for the patch or engraving choice, including switching to No after entering text or selecting a patch.
• Check that the dependent field appears for Yes and is hidden for No. Review the preview, charges, and submitted order details for both paths.
• Test every patch design, short and maximum-length engraving text, and each stocked bag or pouch variant.
• Check patch inventory links and add-on prices if you configured them.
